Just One Layer.......get outta town!

Hello blogger fans. I have had some people ask me, 'when do u find the time to craft with having a part time job & having 3 kids?'
ANSWER- My 10 yr old goes to school all day & my 4 yr old (yup turned 4 on Sept 16) goes to preschool half days M-F in the afternoons (12:30-3:30 pm), which is when my 18 month old naps.....so, I get some stuff in there and then I'm usually up until 11:00pm-midnight after all the kids go to bed......so ya, needless to say, hubs and I have not gone to bed at the same time for quite some time.....I think he misses me.

***************************************

Onto my card.
Well, I initially made this for the Sugar Nellie Facebook Challenge of a One layer card. Then I missed the deadline *poop*, so I opted to save it for another great challenge. Then the Less is More Challenge of CAS wanting to get 1000 entries came up & TA-DA....I could use my fabby wee one layered card!
Meet Butterfly Girl. I stamped her with memento black ink right onto my kraft cardstock & colored only aspects of her with my watercolor pencils. I used my opaque white gel pen to make all the dots you see. The butterfly line on the bottom is my MS butterfly punch & the wee ones flying around are cut from that same punch line. Who needs a small punch when you got this baby!! woohooo!! I did some faux stitching and complimented my card with a sentiment from my Garden Whimsy SU set. Oh & don't forget the sponging & glitter! Now I don't do CAS very often or very well so what you see is what you get! LOL

No way, get outta town!!!...lol!! It turned out awesome though!!! You did a beautiful job! I've tried doing this before and it either ends up looking like a kindergarten project or I go overboard like always...lol. Love, love that stamp too!!

By the way, thanks for the little insight on how you are able to get so much done cause I was one who wanted and needed to know!! We both have 3 kids, but I don't even have a part-time job and I still wouldn't be able to do as much as you do! Tell me, you must have a housekeeper right? And does the hubs help with the kiddos homework? And my 4 year old doesn't go to school or take naps. Over the past few days, I have actually had to create my self an organized schedule to get things done...lol.

Anyways, however you do it, you rock! :D

Big Hugz,
xx Tracey xx
